Every Saturday, in front of the Aluche metro station, large numbers of people gather. The attraction that brings them there is none other than the celebration of the Mercadillo de Aluche (calle de Rafael Finat con avenida de los Poblados, 62): a general flea market with 77 stalls that opens on the sixth day of the week from 9 am to 2 pm.
The reason for its success has to do with its very low prices, and although there are food stalls, what is most striking is that you can find clothes and accessories from brands such as Zara, Mango, Purificación García or Levi’s at a cost that you would never see in a store.
One of the best known stalls in the Aluche flea market is the one that sells handbags from only 5€. Its secret, according to those who run it told a tiktoker in a video a few months ago, is that they meet the three “B’s”: “they are good, beautiful and cheap”. You can also find leather bags for €10, €15 or €20.
How to get to the Mercadillo de Aluche?
