Chances are, if your subconscious has caught yourself chanting conversations like “Neck tattoo? Yes. Did you see each other last night? Yes” or celebrating Paquito’s arrival with your hand in the air, you now have some good news. Ca7riel y Paco Amoroso, the most popular Hispanic musical duo of this semester (as if you measure popularity in semesters) has announced a concert at the Wizink Center.
The popularity of the Argentine duo, already recommended to us a few years ago by singer Juancho Marqués in this interview, has skyrocketed in the last two months due to the release of their Tiny Desk, the iconic and intimate concerts organized by NPR Music’s All Songs Considered radio show.
The freshness, the self-confidence, the cheekiness and the talent of the band and the aforementioned are just some of the factors that boosted Ca7riel and Paco’s success. Not in vain, at that moment many people noticed that this very Friday, they already had a live show at the Sala But in Madrid.
Dates in Madrid and Barcelona
And as if it was a kind of consideration for those who have known them later, the duo announced yesterday in La Revuelta, the program presented by David Broncano in RTVE, that they would have new dates in Madrid and Barcelona next year. The Madrid concert will be at the Wizink Center on May 28, while the Barcelona concert will be on May 27 at the Sant Jordi Club. Tickets are already on sale.
