The calditos season kicks off with the abrupt change of weather that November brings. To welcome the cold season as it deserves, few plans are as appetizing as the one organized by La Gildería (Trafalgar, 15) for Sunday 17: Cuchareo Fino, a pop-up of stews.
Two of the most talented gastronomic communicators in our country, Paula Casado and Diego Domínguez Almudévar (known as Diegodoal on YouTube and other social networks), will present three spoon dishes with a little spicy touch: lentils with gilda jelly and piparras, fabada tonkotsu -areinterpretation of the Asturian dish to which they add chashu, chili oil and crispy black pudding- and Japanese ropavieja with stew curry. In addition, a solidarity gilda will be added to the menu for €3.5. The money raised from the sale of this product will go to those affected by the DANA in Valencia.
Each dish of the ‘Cuchareo’ will be priced at 9€. The undecided can order a tasting menu with which to try all three -twostews (one per person) and Japanese ropavieja to share-for 30 €. No reservation will be necessary for the tasting: you will enter on a first-come, first-served basis from 12:30 p.m. until stocks last. There will be the possibility of taking the stews away for those who prefer to enjoy them at home.
