With the installation of the lighting system underway and the arrival of the first decorative items in the stores, it is becoming clear that the countdown to Christmas has begun. And to this we must also add the first events related to the festivity that are beginning to be announced, such as the great Christmas House that for the first time will host the Palacio de Santa Bárbara in Madrid.
This spectacular enclave of more than 400 square meters, located at 87 Hortaleza Street, will be transformed from November 1 to 9 into a fairytale space by the decorators and stylists of El Mueble magazine.
In addition to being inspired by the decorative proposals of the different firms that will dress this Christmas House -such as lighting, fragrances, furniture or textiles-, walking through the palace you will find 8 Christmas trees of varied styles ranging from a more natural aesthetic to fir trees in white and gold tones.
Workshops at the Christmas House
In addition to all of the above, the Christmas House will feature a series of Christmas decoration workshops (with limited places). In total, there will be five proposals with which you can learn to create a natural centerpiece or an advent wreath, to dress the table, decorate the tree and make lettering for a Christmas menu. The schedules can be consulted at this link.
On the other hand, in order to attend the workshops, which are priced from 20 €, it is essential to have purchased tickets that give access to the Christmas House. These can be purchased from 12 € through the magazine’s website.
