La Casa Verde (avda. Rosario Manzaneque, 25) could be the setting for a new Snow White movie. Its colonial-style interior and its garden with Japanese reminiscences make the space a perfect place for cultural and creative encounters. For the eighth year, the Mercado de las Conchas will be held here, where crafts, design and gourmet gastronomy come together under the same roof a few days before Christmas begins.
The best products of the market
La Casa Verde market will open its doors on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. It will have more than thirty stalls with unique items, such as contemporary ceramic plates coming out of AHK Taller; floral lamps from Curucucho; hand-woven ponchos and shawls from the firm Lamapuche; Japanese kimonos from Haru and porcelain Christmas balls made at Mblundh, among many others. In addition, readers will have a stand of Istarduck Ediciones, which publishes illustrated works for children and young people.
There will also be products related to personal care. In the gourmet section we will find Soroval‘s organic honey; Vinofilia‘s French wines and pâtés; Caminero’ s sausages and Cerrucos de Kanama’ s cheeses. In the cosmetics area, we will be able to try natural and animal cruelty-free creams in the Nurake Biocosmetics space.
The experience will be completed with food trucks for a snack after a morning of shopping. Among the highlights we have the Espacio Bocana stall, with a high quality menu in which hamburgers -made with meat from the Sierra de Guadarrama- are the star dishes.
