A town in the southeast of Madrid with a little more than 8,000 inhabitants has become the world capital: Morata de Tajuña is once again boasting the title it holds not only as the sweetest town in Madrid but also as the world capital of the chocolate palm tree with the celebration of a new edition of its Palmerita Fair.
This 2025 the event par excellence for lovers of handmade sweets and chocolate -which already has eight editions behind it- will take place on December 13 and 14, as already confirmed by the City Council of Morata de Tajuña in a publication in its social networks.
Apart from being able to buy and taste this typical Morata sweet, as usual the fair will also be full of free activities. At the moment the program has not been made public, but on other occasions the program has included a craft market and concerts.
