The Italian Institute of Culture of Madrid, with the collaboration of the Italian Embassy in Spain, opens this Wednesday, September 27, a new edition of its free Italian film festival: the Festival de Cine Italiano de Madrid (Madrid Italian Film Festival). An appointment with the seventh art that will run until December 4.
The event is a real attraction for lovers of contemporary Italian cinema, who will be able to enjoy a selection of previews of feature films, short films and documentaries by both established and new Italian filmmakers. All of them will be shown at MK2 Cine Paz (125 Fuencarral St.) and at the Istituto Italiano Di Cultura (86 Mayor St.).
The success of the event is palpable through an objective fact: one only has to take a look at its website to realize that many of the screenings have already been sold out.
For which films of the free Italian film festival are there any tickets left?
At the time of writing, tickets are still available for the following screenings:
- Saturday, November 30 at 9pm. Cab Monamour (Ciro de Caro). Room 1. The director will attend.
- Sunday, December 1 at 9 pm. Campo di Batagglia ( Gianni Amelio). Hall 1.
- Monday, December 2 at 9 pm. Sulla Terra Leggeri (Sara Fgaier). Hall 1.
- Tuesday, December 3:

How to get tickets?
Although tickets for the screenings are free, it is essential to book them in advance. You can do it through this link. If one of the films you want to go to has sold out, you might still have a chance: as you can read on the website, “Returned tickets will be available and will be delivered to the cinema”.
