Starting this Friday, June 12, three squares in central Madrid will become free, open-air summer movie theaters: a highly anticipated and popular form of summer entertainment that thousands of Madrid residents choose year after year to make the most of the evenings during the hottest months in the capital.
The locations chosen by the Centro Municipal Council to host a new edition of this summer movie series, which will run through July, are some of the district’s most iconic: Plaza de Barceló, Plaza de la Corrala, and Las Vistillas.
There, on weekends in June and July starting at 9 p.m., you can enjoy a lineup featuring animated films, adventures, comedies, and dramas, designed for audiences of all ages.
