If a time traveler were to land this weekend in Getafe, he would probably be surprised to find, in the XXI century, medieval folk music, parades, period crafts and even instruments of capital punishment. The explanation lies in the event that the municipality celebrates this weekend from 27 to 29 September: the Getafe Medieval Market.
The event will take place over three days during which, in different locations, a wide program of activities will be deployed. All of them revolve around three axes: trades, workshops and animation.
In addition, during the opening hours of the medieval market, there will be a Medieval corner where you can find everything from farm implements to a period camp or instruments of capital punishment.
