Christmas is two weeks away but the machinery of this holiday season has been working at full capacity for some time. The friendly side is to meet and celebrate with loved ones, but there is also another that is the crowds in the center that make it, for many, a place to avoid. Thinking about all this, three friends -Selina Feduchi, Bárbara de Benito and Sara Coriat- wanted to create “a space where you really feel like buying Christmas gifts” and that’s how Grinch House came about.
This year celebrates its first edition in Madrid and, despite the name, invites you to “make peace” with the holidays from the Belmonte Gallery in Carabanchel (Calle Belmonte del Tajo, 61) this Saturday, December 14 from 11am to 8pm.
This alternative and decentralized Christmas market -where you can also taste natural wines, gildas or have a coffee- will feature “up to 20 firms from all over Spain carefully selected by its founders”, according to the event itself.
