On September 25, Madrid has a date with Grupo Firme. The Movistar Arena will host the only Madrid stop on La Primera EuroPeda 2026, the first European tour by the group led by Eduin Caz. After selling out shows in Colombia and breaking records in Mexico, the Mexican regional music phenomenon is crossing the Atlantic, and Madrid has been added to the list of selected cities. They’ll also perform in Málaga, Barcelona, and Valencia. Tickets are now available through Fever.

From Colombia to Mexico: The Year of Grupo Firme

From uploading cover songs to YouTube with friends to filling Mexico’s largest venues in just over a decade. Founded in 2014 in Tijuana by Eduin Cázares and Jairo Corrales, Grupo Firme
is not just another band in the Mexican regional scene: it is, right now, one of the names making the biggest waves in the genre on both sides of the Atlantic. Along the way, they won a Latin Grammy in 2021 for Best Banda Album for *Nos Divertimos Logrando Lo Imposible*, the first of several accolades that confirmed their influence within the genre.

They’ve just completed a historic tour of Colombia and become the first Mexican artist to perform 11 concerts at the GNP Seguros Stadium (one of Mexico’s largest venues). With that track record behind them, the band has decided it’s time to venture beyond the Americas, and Spain is a must-see stop on that journey.

Their songs are anthems meant to be sung at the top of your lungs (you’ve surely come across “Ya Supérame,” “El Tóxico,” or “Cada Quien” on your TikTok feed).
