Juan Magán celebrates two decades on stage with a magnificent concert at the Movistar Arena (former WiZink Center). He will do it next Thursday, January 30, surrounded by artist friends who, in some way and at some point, have been part of this stratospheric musical career. He will be accompanied by Nacho, Ana Guerra, Chema Rivas, Danny Romero, Lérica, Denna, Mar Lucas, Víctor Magán, Marc Magán, Carlos Baute and Karetta el Gucci. You can still get the last tickets.
What is expected for this concert is all show and, of course, dancing, lots of dancing. Not in vain, Magán was formed in the world of the electronic machine, where he learned everything he needed to make our chest and body rumble to the rhythm of powerful and repetitive bass. And from there, back to his tropical, Caribbean, catchy origins. The resulting mix is that Latin electro of which he is said to be father and king (titles more than demonstrated in tracks like Te Voy a Esperar, Bailando por ahí, Verano Azul, Por fin te encontré… and so many others).
Who will perform with Juan Magán on January 30?
Prolific and talented, Juan Magán is an artist, a performer but, above all, a composer. In these more than two decades he has worked with countless artists, some of them, will step and celebrate the 20 years of Magán’s career on stage on January 30.
The latest to jump on the Latin electro bandwagon are pure Venezuelan Power: Nacho and Carlos Baute. Nacho, from the well-known duo Chino & Nacho (who hasn’t sung that catchy song ” Mi niña bonita”?); and Baute, the Caracas native with an overwhelming personality on stage, who will accompany Magán, with whom he has participated throughout his career in collaborations such as “Amarte bien” and “Te pido perdón”.
He will also be accompanied by Mar Lucas, the influencer and artist who has conquered both social networks and music platforms with songs like Tú sí; Denna, an emerging artist who started her career doing covers on her social networks and is now sweeping the world with her unabashed pop; Víctor Magán Juan’s brother, DJ and producer who started his career with Blanco y Negro Music and has left his mark on the dance scene with tracks like Love Is a Gamble, Bailando por ahí (Remix) and Spotlight; and his son, Marc Magán, with whom he is sure to share an iconic moment on stage.
Movistar Arena will witness the talent of Chema Rivas, the artist from Granada who has already worked with Magán on the song Anda Suelta, but who also has hits like Mil tequilas or Entre tú y yo. In addition, Ana Guerra also joins the lineup to bring her talent from the Canary Islands. The singer, known for songs like Lo malo and Ni la hora, has demonstrated her versatility to navigate between Latin pop and ballads.
This is the case of Danny Romero with whom she worked on songs such as El hipo, Alegría, Tú y yo… Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, he rose to fame as a DJ when he dared with a catchy remix of Campanera. But he left the decks and grabbed the mic quickly to become a young promise of Latin house and, of course, Latin electro.
The Movistar Arena will also bring together Juan Magán with Lérica the band with which they collaborated in great songs like the remix reinterpreted as Fuera de mí. This duo from Cadiz is an expert in making dance and in dedicating verses like this one to our Madrid: No’ conocimo en un garito en Malasaña Pillao por sus ojitos verde marihuana.
