Juan Magán announced a few weeks ago a concert at the WiZink Center. He will do it surrounded by artist friends who, in some way and at some point, have been part of this stratospheric musical career. Magán has just announced the first names that will accompany him on stage: Danny Romero, Lérica, Chema Rivas and Ana Guerra will be part of the show that celebrates Latin electro. Tickets are already on sale.
What is expected for this concert is all show and, of course, dancing, lots of dancing. Not in vain, Magán was formed in the world of the electronic machine, where he learned everything he needed to make our chests and bodies rumble to the rhythm of powerful and repetitive bass. And from there, back to his tropical, Caribbean, catchy origins. The resulting mix is that Latin electro of which he is said to be father and king (titles more than demonstrated in tracks like Te Voy a Esperar, Bailando por ahí, Verano Azul, Por fin te encontré… and so many others).
Who will perform with Juan Magán on January 30?
Prolific and talented, Juan Magán is an artist, a performer but, above all, a composer. In these more than two decades he has worked with countless artists, some of them, will step and celebrate the 20 years of Magán’s career on stage on January 30.
The WiZink will witness the talent of Chema Rivas, the artist from Granada who has already worked with Magán on the song Anda Suelta, but who also has hits like Mil tequilas or Entre tú y yo. In addition, Ana Guerra also joins the lineup to bring her talent from the Canary Islands. The singer, known for songs like Lo malo and Ni la hora, has demonstrated her versatility to navigate between Latin pop and ballads.
This is the case of Danny Romero with whom she worked on songs such as El hipo, Alegría, Tú y yo… Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, he rose to fame as a DJ when he dared with a catchy remix of Campanera. But he left the decks and grabbed the mic quickly to become a young promise of Latin house and, of course, Latin electro.
The WiZink will also bring together Juan Magán with Lérica the band with which they collaborated in great tracks such as the remix reinterpreted as Fuera de mí. This duo from Cadiz is an expert in making dance and in dedicating verses like this one to our Madrid: No’ conocimo en un garito en Malasaña Pillao por sus ojitos verde marihuana.
