“Going for a run in Madrid”: something that sounds spectacular on your 2026 vision board but is a bit of a chore to actually do, especially if you’re a beginner. But if you add a drink afterwards and the chance to meet new people to that running session… it becomes much more appealing. And that’s precisely the idea behind the new Luminous Party Run event, which has just arrived in Madrid with a fun fitness experience where you can meet like-minded people between stretches.
What is the Luminous Party Run?
A way to run 5 kilometers without even realizing it. Luminous Party Run is an experience designed for runners to meet new people while jogging. It’s ideal for beginners or for convincing that friend that running is fun in company and without professional goals. A race through the city with short breaks to catch your breath, ending with a party where everyone can have a drink together. The essence of the gym and good food, condensed into 2 hours of fitness, discovering the city, and socializing.
More information about the experience
Often, going for a run without company translates directly into not going for a run ( “I’ll do it tomorrow”). That’s why Luminous Party Run is designed for adults over 18 who are not only running enthusiasts, but also for those who need that little push to get off the couch or simply want to meet new people with similar tastes, at least when it comes to sports.
Participants run for an hour (with two breaks in between) and then relax at a party for another hour. We recommend wearing fluorescent clothing, although it is not mandatory. In any case, neon accessories such as necklaces and bracelets will be handed out when you arrive at the bar after the run.
Whether you’re a passionate runner, new to the city, or just someone who needs to try all the new experiences Madrid has to offer, Luminous Party Run is coming to the capital for a limited time with a fitness plan that lets you discover the city in a different way while meeting new people. But like all good things, there’sa limited number of spots, so we recommend booking early before they sell out.
