If every time you eat cheese you experience a happiness similar to the one experienced by Remy in RatatouilleIf you are a fan of cheese, save October 31 for THE plan -with Halloween’s permission-: a big cheese marathon that will take place at the bistrot of the French cheese factory Brie Alto inside the Vallehermoso Market (Calle de Vallehermoso, 36).
This bistrot in Chamberí serves on a daily basis “dishes made with our products, cheese boards, sausages and wines from all over France, all in a very relaxed atmosphere, with very nice people,” they say on their website. But they also organize events such as this great marathon, which they tell Madrid Secreto is a success in each edition.
The cheese tribute is priced at €25 per person, which includes the following: 25 cheeses at will and a glass of wine or a beer. “At the same time we do a quiz with the cheeses. The winner wins a bottle of choice between red or white”, says Pauline, one of the members of this fromagerie.
Tickets for the great cheese marathon
Tickets will be on sale soon on the Brie Alto website, in the “Great Cheese Marathon” section – where it is easy to check what they assured us: tickets are sold out for the most recent date of the marathon.
In addition to their bistro in the Mercado de Vallehermoso, these lovers of good cheese and good wine -Richard, Pauline and Gabriel- have a store at number 10 Alonso Cano, next to the Mercado de Chamberí.
