The return of F1 to the capital is exceeding all expectations. The FORMULA 1® TAG HEUER GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2026, which will take place in Madrid from September 11-13, 2026, has already sold more than 53,000 seats, but we have very good news: the organization has announced that it is building new grandstands and a new batch of season tickets are already on sale. Get them here before they fly away.
The great novelty of this batch of tickets is that it enables new seating areas with new prices. On the one hand, the outer tier of turn 13 – a strong braking after facing “La Monumental” at more than 300km/h – and a new tier in turn 5. On the other hand, the most desired season tickets by many fans: the general admission or pelouse.
About the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix
Until recently, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló was the only Spanish venue to host F1 races. However, with the future addition of Madrid to the calendar in 2026, Spain will become the only European country to host two Grands Prix. The Madrid event, moreover, will have the particularity of being the only one held in the core of a major European capital.
The Madrid race is scheduled for the weekend of September 11-13, 2026 and will be the 16th round of a calendar that in 2026 will have 24 events. That season will start on March 6 in Melbourne (Australia) and will end with the Abu Dhabi race on December 4-6.
All the great figures of the competition, such as Verstappen, Piastri, Norris, Russell and Leclerc, are expected to fight for the victory on the new MADRING track, together with the national representatives, Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz.
What MADRING will be like
The new MADRING circuit will be the heart of the action: a 5.4 km, 22-turn semi-urban layout. The jewel in the crown will be “La Monumental”, a corner destined to become iconic: it is more than 550 meters long and has a gradient of 24%. Fans who opt for the grandstands on the outside of turn 13 (one of the new areas being offered for sale) will have a privileged view of this highlight of the GP.
MADRING aims to be one of the best connected circuits on the calendar. It is located within the city, just 5 minutes from the airport and has metro stops, train station and multiple bus lines at its entrance. In addition, the event will have 100% renewable electricity in key areas and promises to merge motor racing with culture, gastronomy and the best of Madrid’s late afternoon entertainment.
