Although there has already been a very good and long bridge of May 2nd, in Madrid there is another holiday in May. Thursday 15, the big day of the San Isidro festivities, is also a holiday in the capital. Being only the patron saint of the city, this day is only non-working in the municipality of Madrid and does not extend to the Community.
In the region there are 12 holidays shared by all, to which are added two holidays in each municipality. In the capital, in addition to the one already mentioned, Monday November 10 is added in 2025, due to the transfer of the Day of the Almudena, patron saint of Madrid.
