Its name is Okio Asian Street Market and in it is everything – or almost everything – that promises this gastronomic destination that has just opened its doors in Paseo de la Castellana, 77: an Asian street food market set up to transport you to the street food stalls of Tokyo, Shanghai or Thailand.
The market features the flavors of street food from Taiwan, Kyoto and Bangkok with a total of 8 stalls:
- Wok Society (noodles)
- Anime Ramen (ramen)
- Nem Nem (Vietnamese cuisine)
- Sushi experience (sushi)
- Gyozas Chen (gyozas and baos)
- Shao Kao (Robata & Yakitoris)
- Okashi Sweet (desserts, coffee and bubble tea)
In addition, among its colorful signs, lanterns and neon lights you will also find a bar with drinks and cocktails.
Okio Street Asian Market beyond food
On the other hand, in addition to the gastronomic offer, the new Okio Asian Street Market also has a space dedicated to leisure -what they call “social bar”- where DJ sessions are held and there are arcade game machines. And, going up to the second floor, there is a karaoke room with three rooms.
Opening hours are Sunday to Thursday from 1pm to 11:30pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 1pm to midnight. With this latest opening they already have two spaces in the capital: the other one is in the Palacio de Hielo Shopping Center (Calle de Silvano, 77) and, as they explain, they will soon open a third one in Calle Serrano, in Madrid’s Salamanca neighborhood.
