After opening in Zurich (Switzerland), Seoul (South Korea), Mexico City and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), the Swiss premium sports fashion brand On has announced the opening of its first store in Spain. The chosen city is Madrid and the store will open to the public this Saturday, November 22 – the same day, by the way, that the Christmas lights will be switched on.
The store is located at 17 Serrano Street, “on the route of the famous San Silvestre Vallecana, which attracts tens of thousands of runners every December 31, so it is ideal for consolidating our presence and making ourselves even better known in the Spanish capital,” according to Bianca Pestalozzi-Houchangnia, On’s general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Given its location in one of the most emblematic points of Madrid’s “golden mile”, the brand has opted for a minimalist design in which the protagonist role falls on the architecture.
What’s in the On store in Madrid?
The store has an area of 250 m² distributed over two floors, where customers can find technical footwear, clothing and accessories for running , training, daily use, tennis or outdoor activities.
A glance at its website shows that prices can range from €50 for a sports bra to €160 for footwear – which can even be paid in installments. Not counting special editions or collaborations with brands such as LOEWE, where prices can go up to 300 € or 500 €.
Running outings and events
In addition to the sale of products as such, the store will also organize various activities for the city’s running community: every Wednesday, for example, the store will be the starting point for running outings at 7 pm.
These outings will be joined by “other events” during the year, of which no further details have been disclosed so far.

The store is open from Monday to Sunday from 10am to 9pm.
