Barcelona, Valencia, Tarragona, Zaragoza, Albacete and Alicante. These are the six Spanish destinations that can be reached from Madrid by Ouigo, the private train operator, a subsidiary of the French SNCF.
The list of destinations will increase this fall with three Andalusian provincial capitals: Seville, Cordoba and Malaga. Ouigo will reach these three destinations in what was news that was expected by regular travelers, since the French company had announced it some months ago.
After another private operator (in this case of Italian origin: Iryo) provided connections in 2023, this fall it is the turn of Ouigo. The French operator has not specified the exact date on which that first train will depart, but has indicated that tickets will go on sale on September 26.
And they will be available from €9..
Also on September 26 will be when all the news regarding this new route will be announced. Federico Pareja, commercial and marketing director of Ouigo Spain, will be in charge of communicating them in an event that will take place in the Sevillian station of Santa Justa on September 26 at 9:30 am.
