Pinta Malasaña, the great urban art festival, already has a date for its tenth edition. As stated on the official website of the event, the event will be held next Sunday, April 27 in the streets of downtown Madrid.
Hundreds of artists will cover as many spaces in the neighborhood with their creations thanks to this initiative promoted by Madrid Street Art Project and the hyperlocal newspaper Somos Malasaña.
These spaces, once again this year, will be donated by merchants as well as by associations and neighbors. And as usual, the public will be able to take part in the festival thanks to parallel activities. Last year, for example, these included painting workshops, concerts and interactive interventions.
The call for artists, according to the organization, will open in the coming days. On the other hand, Pinta Malasaña will once again be supported this year by the Condeduque Cultural Center and the Madrid City Council’s Junta de Centro.
