There are just a few hours left before a true British rock legend steps on stage at the Wizink Center. He co-founded the band The Beatles, marking a before and after in the history of music, and while in it he composed some of the most covered songs in the world: Hey Jude (inspired by the stormy relationship between John Lennon and Julian, his son) and Yesterday, not to mention other hits that seem immortal today, 54 years after the Liverpudlian group disbanded. Yes, we are talking about Paul McCartney, who will be performing on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 December at 21:00.
McCartney ‘s concerts at the Wizink are part of the Got Back Tour, which pays tribute to the sixty years of music that the English composer has given us, including songs by Wings, the group to which the musician belonged for ten years, songs from his solo career and, of course, The Beatles.
Got Back Tour began in 2022 and will end on December 18 in London. Spain is the penultimate country through which the tour passes, just eight years after McCartney’s last appearance in Madrid.
Doors open and ticket rules
On both Monday and Tuesday, doors will open for the ex-Beatle’s big concert at 7pm. On the other hand, children under 16 years of age must enter with at least one accompanying adult and their corresponding ticket.
Unlike other expected concerts such as Taylor Swift‘s, tickets can be shown both in pdf format from the cell phone and on paper, without the need to download the application from an official website.
