55 artists will gather at Parque da Cidade, including names like rusowsky, Bad Gyal, Panda Bear, Yard Act…and artists who will only be performing at the Portuguese edition, such as Model/Actriz, Triângulo de Amor Bizarro, Black Country, New Road, Baxter Dury, MXGPU (Moullinex & GPU Panic), NAPA, PAUS, Bestia Bebé, Duquesa, Emmy Curl, Inês Marques Lucas, The Sophs, Vaiapraia, Dixon, Xinobi DJ set, SuM, Criolo, Amaro & Dino, Mari Froes, and Sensible Soccers.
On Thursday the11th, emmy Curl will break the ice on the Estrella Damm stage, setting the stage for Big Thief and the highly anticipated return of The XX at 11:40 p. m. That same day, the Vodafone stage will welcome Ethel Cain and the irreverence of KNEECAP well into the early hours of the morning.
Meanwhile, on Friday the 12th ( with day passes already sold out), Gorillaz will headline the main stage at 11:10 p.m., right after the hypnotic Slowdive. For those still in the mood to party, Bad Gyal will take the stage at Vodafone at 12:45 a.m., competing with the Japanese band Melt-Banana on the ZYN stage.
Saturday the 13th will keep the bar set very high with Massive Attack’s return at 11:15 PM on the Estrella Damm stage, preceded by the energy of Yard Act, while the Vodafone stage will host IDLES’ live performance just past midnight (12:40 AM). The local act will be MXGPU’s (Moullinex & GPU Panic) exclusive show at 2:20 a.m. with Live Over Porto.
Finally, Sunday the 14th will be entirely dedicated to electronic music on the ZYN stage. Kicking off at 3:00 p.m. with SuM, the festival will go out with a bang, featuring the Portuguese acts Xinobi and Dixon, and wrapping up with Peggy Gou at 9:00 p.m.—the perfect grand finale for an unforgettable getaway.
Tickets and passes for Primavera Sound Porto
Primavera Sound Porto is shaping up to be a great event, and with less than a month to go, festival passes and tickets for the June 12 shows are already sold out. But don’t panic! You still have time to get a ticket for another day. You can purchase them through the Fever app (the official and exclusive ticketing platform for this event).
Day passes cost €75, except for the electronic music party on Sunday, June 14 (featuring Peggy Gou, Dixon, Xinobi, and SuM), which are priced at €40. If you opt for VIP day passes, they are only available for Thursday and Saturday at a price of €135 per day.
