Here’s the surprise that the Rio Babel festival had prepared for us: Katy Perry, Bomba Estéreo and La Casa Azul are the first three confirmed for the 2026 edition, which will be held from July 3 to 5 at the Miguel Ríos Auditorium in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. Tickets for the entire festival are already on sale.
The line-up of Rio Babel 2026: first confirmations
Katy Perry who will be performing this November at Movistar Arena (and who is on the verge of a brand new “sold out” sign), will return to the city next summer to headline Rio Babel. We can never have enough Perry.
She is joined by Bomba Estéreo from Colombia and with a lot of Fuego. We are still recovering from what happened last October 12, when they performed in front of a packed Plaza de España and made it jump to the rhythm of Somos Dos, Soy Yo or La Samaria.
Y La Casa Azul absolute reference of Spanish pop, with a show that always lifts the audience (impossible not to do so with hymns like La revolución sexual).
Music but also humor
The program will include more than 40 performances spread over several stages, with styles ranging from pop to indie. But also including humor, one of the key differentiators of Rio Babel. Every year, the festival brings comedians to the Babel Comedy stage to present their shows live.
