Rio Babel is an unstoppable current that for eight years has been uniting two sound scenes separated by a big puddle: the Atlantic. It was born as a river and as a bridge between the music made in America and Europe. And hence this bombshell: Amaia, La M.O.D.A., The Offspring and Molotov, supreme eclecticism, are the new names of Rio Babel (from July 3 to 5 at the Miguel Rios Auditorium in Rivas-Vaciamadrid). Tickets and season tickets are already on sale.
We warn: they are not the first confirmed (Katy Perry, Bomba Estéreo, La Casa Azul, Yami Safdie, Yadam and Tú peleas como una vaca, kicked off the 2026 lineup) nor will they be the last. Soon, we will know the definitive line-up of Babel River.

Great news for Madrid, which will welcome Amaia in what will be the only concert of the Pamplona-born singer in Madrid in 2026 to present the album Si abro los ojos no es real. Or (all at 7!) the Burgos septet La Maravillosa Orquesta del Alcohol, who will present their seventh album San Felices. From the “other side of the pond”: The Offspring, 40 million records sold throughout their career, songs like Self Esteem or The Kids Aren’t Alright. From Mexico with love (and rap, denunciation and funk), Molotov, old friends of the festival who will celebrate their 30 years as a band in Madrid.
But they are not the only new names: also playing will be Chambao (celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band, as announced a few weeks ago by La Mari in La Revuelta), Caramelos de Cianuro, Iseo & Dodosound, Louta, Chiquita Movida, Alan Sutto (and the little creatures of anxiety), Ian Amores and Machaka.
Music but also humor
The program will include more than 40 performances spread over several stages, with styles ranging from pop to indie. But also including humor, one of the key differentiators of Rio Babel. Each year, the festival brings comedians to the Babel Comedy stage to present their shows live.
