The routes of the cover eventually have the function of shortening the price of some products. It is not uncommon to sit on a terrace in La Latina, order a vermouth without asking the price and end up visiting a bank branch to ask for a loan.
For the next ten days (from November 21 to December 1), the Plaza de la Paja, once the most important square in Madrid because it was where the trade was concentrated, will host Ronda Castiza.
Ronda Castiza is a traditional tapa route organized by the Plaza de la Paja Hotel and Restaurant Association in collaboration with Vermut Bendito. In it you will have the option of taking a tapa (such as a taco of ropa vieja or a deconstructed stew) for 3 € or tapa and vermouth for 4 €.
