Italian food has followers all over the world. Madrid is full of trattorias and ice cream parlors with culinary offerings inspired by the homeland of wine and pasta. You only need to take a stroll behind the Castellana, in Rios Rosas, which has become a Madrid version of Little Italy, the acclaimed New York neighborhood. Right here, a few streets away from Nuevos Ministerios, is the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Spain (Cristobal Bordiú, 54), which has created an initiative to bring to Spain the most authentic flavors of the country of the boot before Christmas, during the IX Week of Italian Cuisine in the World.
Sabor a Italia is being held until Friday, November 22 in 12 Italian restaurants, four of them in Madrid. Each restaurant offers a special menu or dish that is not usually included in its menu, prepared with authentic products from the Mediterranean country.
