A murder has taken place at this masked dinner. There are no witnesses, no one seems suspicious, and besides, who would have anything against the victim? But the culprit is in the room, and you are the Sherlock Holmes of the case. The Guilty Banquet comes to Madrid with an immersive experience where food, mystery, and plot twists make you part of a story that could have come straight out of an Agatha Christie novel.
What is The Guilty Banquet?
An immersive gastronomic experience where you will feel like you are part of one of Edgar Allan Poe’s books. Performed by professional actors, The Guilty Banquet is a dinner show in which, for 90 minutes, the mystery unfolds throughout the evening between bites, clues, and interactions with the audience. A sophisticated crime in which you and the other diners must unmask (never better said) the culprit.
How does this mystery dining experience work?
This isn’t like putting on Netflix on the sofa while you eat a poke bowl: here you are part of the action at an elegant masked dinner. You are just another guest and, as such, you will interact with the actors, dine and discuss with the rest of your table to solve the mystery.
As for the food, there are different menus available: from vegetarian options such as mushroom risotto to others such as sea bass or truffle-stuffed chicken, and all the dishes may hide a crucial clue to solving the case. Don’t be carried away (only) by the great taste and pay attention to all the details, because once the dishes are cleared away and you have to decide on the culprit, you will only have one chance to point the finger. Or will you unwittingly choose an innocent person?
Attention, attention (tapping spoons on glasses): a murder is going to take place in Madrid on selected dates with the arrival of The Guilty Banquet. A gastronomic experience with crime included, in which you are part of an elegant masked dinner at the Hotel Meliá Casa de las Artes.
Of course, like all posh dinners, places are limited. So if you want to be one of the guests, we recommend booking your tickets before the case begins. You don’t want to miss out on being one of the detectives (and if you ask us, that would be a real crime).
