The Railway Museum will host its market next weekend, which, as always, is free to enter: the Mercado de Motores will once again fill the old Delicias station with life, featuring food trucks, vintage fashion, emerging design, and live music. The next edition will be held on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, at the beginning of the month, and promises to repeat its winning formula with more than a hundred stalls among historic locomotives, outdoor terraces, and an atmosphere that combines a creative fair, a food festival, and a great indoor family outing.
For two days, the corridors of the museum’s central hall are transformed into a huge showcase for vintage fashion, carefully selected second-hand items and independent design, where you can find clothing, accessories, jewelry, ceramics, prints, collectibles, records, decorations and unique pieces that are not usually found in conventional stores. Each edition of the Mercado de Motores brings together more than 100–150 selected exhibitors, from small artisans to emerging brands, and has already exceeded three million visitors since its inception in 2012, establishing itself as one of the leading urban markets in Europe.

The gastronomic offering is another of its great attractions. Outside the Railway Museum, there is a large area with food trucks and bars where you can eat and drink outdoors: hamburgers, fusion cuisine, vegan options, sweets, craft beers, and vermouths, with shared tables and a festival-like atmosphere. All this is accompanied by live music, DJs, choirs, and concerts throughout the day, turning the market into a small neighborhood cultural stage. There are also workshops and activities for children and adults, from creative activities to tastings and games, making it a convenient plan for the whole family.
The opening hours for this edition will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ( in other editions, it has been extended until 10:00 p.m. depending on the weather), and although admission is still free, it is recommended to book tickets online to control capacity and avoid queues at peak times. The Mercado de Motores is held on the second weekend of every month except August.
