The best players in the world, a tournament played by teams and a passion that continues to grow: padel is in fashion and we notice it beyond the public and private courts of Madrid. Proof of this is Generali Hexagon Cup, the professional sports tournament that will bring together the best players in the world in Madrid for the third consecutive year. However, with a new venue: it will be played in the Caja Mágica from January 28 to February 1. Tickets have just gone on sale.
Generali Hexagon Cup has the slogan: “For the Fans. For the Players. For the Game” (“For the Fans. For the Players. For the Game”). A declaration of intent that is crystallized in the format of this sporting event independent of the professional circuit. Among the participants, the crème de la crème of world padel: the pair formed by Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello or Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea (both teams are among the top 10 couples in the world of padel), Paquito Navarro, Martita Ortega, Claudia Fernández… and much more.
The competition model is by teams made up of three pairs: one male and one female pair, with the excitement of seeing unusual duos, joining players who do not usually compete together. These legendary figures of padel give space, in a third couple of the team, to the new wave of players (with the Next Gen category, a competition of new promises that in the 2026 edition will be exclusively male).
In addition, it presents a proposal that transcends the sport. Why? Each team is led, chaired, by a famous figure. We are talking about great paddle fans such as Eva Longoria, Sergio “Kun” Agüero, Rafa Nadal, Pierre Gasly… who have sponsored the competitors of the Generali Hexagon Cup in the last editions. In addition to all this, there will be music, surprises, a fan zone with food trucks, games, interactive experiences and activities for all ages.
The new Generali Hexagon Cup venue
After two intense years of competition playing in Madrid Arena, this third edition comes with a change of venue. Caja Mágica will allow the organization to “raise operational standards, increase spectator capacity and amplify the overall profile. With cutting-edge architecture and state-of-the-art facilities, it is the ideal setting to host the next edition of the tournament.” The home of the best tennis will also be home to the best padel.
