The world’s best players, a team tournament, and a passion that continues to grow: padel is in vogue, and we are seeing this beyond the public and private courts of Madrid. Proof of this is the GENERALI Hexagon Cup 2026, the professional sports tournament that will bring together the world’s best players this week in Madrid. It will be played at Caja Mágica from January 28 to February 1.
GENERALI Hexagon Cup has the slogan: “For the Fans. For the Players. For the Game.” A statement of intent that crystallizes in the format of this sporting event independent of the professional circuit. Among the participants are the cream of the crop of world padel: the pair formed by Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello or Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea (both pairs lead their respective world rankings), Paquito Navarro, Martita Ortega, Claudia Fernández… and much more.

The competition format consists of teams made up of three pairs: one male pair, one female pair, and one Next Gen pair, with the excitement of seeing unusual pairings, bringing together players who do not usually compete together. These legendary padel figures are making room for a new wave of players (in the Next Gen category, a competition for promising new talent, which will be for men in the 2026 edition) in the third pair of each team.
In addition, it presents a proposal that transcends sport. Why? Each team is led and chaired by a famous figure. We are talking about big padel fans such as Eva Longoria, Sergio “Kun” Agüero, Rafa Nadal, Pierre Gasly… who sponsored and supported the Hexagon Cup competitors in recent editions. Added to all this is music, surprises, a fan zone with food trucks, games, interactive experiences, and activities for all ages.
The new venue for the GENERALI Hexagon Cup 2026
After two intense years of competition playing at the Madrid Arena, this third edition comes with a change of venue. Caja Mágica will allow the organization to “raise operational standards, increase spectator capacity, and amplify the global profile. With its avant-garde architecture and state-of-the-art facilities, it is the ideal venue to host the next edition of the tournament.” The home of the best tennis will also be home to the best padel.
