The best rugby players in the world will compete from May 29 to 31 at the José Zorrilla Stadium in Valladolid. This is the second major event of the World Championship, the trophy that will determine who sits on the SVNS World Throne. Twenty-four teams (the 12 best men’s and women’s teams on the planet) will compete in this event, and tickets and season tickets are already on sale starting at €26.
Scrums, drop kicks, tackles, touch… the semantic field of rugby is as varied as the viral posts of our national team on TikTok. The canonical event of this sport is the World Championship, the World Championship, a laurel that will come at the end of a three-stage journey: Hong Kong, Valladolid, and Bordeaux.
The Royal Spanish Rugby Federation (RFER) and World Rugby had already chosen Spain for the HSBC SVNS in 2024 in Madrid: now they are doing so again in style, in a format that almost reminds us of a festival, with food, live music, costumes, and an atmosphere of total celebration and partying.
