A unique furniture store in Madrid closes its doors in December for an indefinite period of time. This was announced by its founder, Erica Greci, through her social networks. “After six years of much effort, happiness, work, pride, pressure and stress, I have decided to close,” she explains.
“Making the decision was very difficult, but once I understood that it was not failure, but well-being, everything flowed,” says Greci in front of the camera, visibly excited. Tocamadera Design Store (General Arrando, 12) became a very promising project: a concept store where quality, originality and avant-garde Italian design prevailed. Elegant firms from the Italian peninsula had their space here, as well as French brands such as La Chance.
Before closing, Tocamadera will be on sale. It offers its customers discounts of up to 40% on its most demanded products, such as its trend-setting armchairs, armchairs and sofas. They have even reached the Club Alma Sensai, a sophisticated circle for women that is hidden in an old mansion on Príncipe de Vergara street.
It’s worth visiting the store’s website to explore the products on offer. Highlights include those by renowned designer Patricia Urquiola, which combine functionality with contemporary aesthetics. For those who prefer to visit the physical store, it is open Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and on Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
