That almost any excuse is good to celebrate something in common is true, but when the Villa de Vallecas celebrates, it does it well. Proof of this is its well-known Batalla Naval, which inaugurates the Madrid summers, but they also have a Spring Festival, which although less known, has a very complete program with all kinds of activities for three days.
From April 25 to 27 this Madrid district will be filled with cultural events with a family focus, plus most of the activities are free. The program includes children’s workshops, theater, concerts, family escape rooms, dance exhibitions and the traditional Tortilla Day, as well as sports tournaments such as volleyball and paddle tennis. The event stands out for reflecting the spirit of union, diversity and culture of the district, with proposals designed to strengthen neighborhood coexistence.
Among the most anticipated moments are the Outdoor Speed Painting Contest and the photography awards ceremony, which highlight local talent and community creativity.
