There are specific moments throughout the year when the opportunity arises to see vehicles from other eras in circulation. Without going any further, last September the historic EMT buses returned to the center of the capital on the occasion of the Fiesta de la Movilidad (Mobility Festival). And it so happens that this weekend is another of those moments, but this time it will be Veteran Car Club Spain who will take to the streets past automotive jewels on the occasion of the II Veteran Retiro Madrid.
After a first edition held in 2022, this peculiar event returns to delight both classic car lovers and those who are simply curious to see them up close.
The appointment with the Veteran Retiro Madrid will be this Sunday, November 10 from 12h. The cars will leave from the School of Industrial Engineers (Calle de José Gutiérrez Abascal, 2) to go along the Castellana to Cibeles. On the occasion of the event, the Madrid City Council has informed which will be the traffic affections during the day.

On their return, they will enter the Retiro to remain on display until 13:30h. Among the models that can be seen in circulation and, later, on display, there will be a Darracq from 1900 and pre-1930 cars from manufacturers such as De Dion-Bouton, Rolls-Royce, Packard or Chevrolet.
On the other hand, its organizers -who, by the way, are the oldest veteran car club in Spain, with uninterrupted activity since its creation- have also wanted to collaborate with the people affected by the DANA in Valencia.
For this reason, until Sunday they will be collecting funds (to which they will add a contribution from the club) that will be entirely destined to Caritas Madrid to invest them in helping to alleviate the damage caused by the storm.
