If you are unemployed and you are under 30 years old, the Community of Madrid could pay you up to 1,500 € for your training. That is what the new youth employment aid created by the regional government consists of, to which 9 million euros will be allocated for 2025 and 2026.
The only additional requirement that must be met to qualify for the aid is to have an income considered low. And which young people are considered to meet it? Those whose cohabitation unit “does not have an income higher than three times the IPREM”, the call states.
The Public Indicator of Multiple Effects Income (IPREM) in 2025 is 600 €/month, 7,200 €/year (12 payments) and 8,400 € for 14 payments. Thus, those whose income does not exceed the following figures will be eligible:
- €1,800/month
- 21,600 €/year in 12 payments
- 25,200 €/year in 14 payments
Conditions of the grants
In order to choose an education that suits their aptitudes and interests, applicants will receive guidance at their respective employment offices. The conditions to be met are as follows:
- The courses or teachings must have a minimum duration of 10 hours and not be considered conferences or congresses.
- Only one application per interested person per year is allowed, which must be carried out within one month from the date of enrollment or reservation of the place.
What is the deadline for applying for the youth employment grants?

The deadline to apply for them will begin after the publication of the regulatory rules in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM), something that will happen soon. When the time comes, the procedure will have to be carried out through the Regional Government’s Digital Administration.
The grants will be delivered a posteriori in the form of checks or training vouchers to pay for the chosen studies once the certificate or diploma certifying that the course has been passed is presented.
The Governing Council, through the Regional Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, approved last week the regulatory rules of this program.
The Youth Employment Plan of the Community of Madrid
These incentives are part of the Youth Employment Plan of the Community of Madrid, which includes other initiatives such as grants for young people without studies or training in digital skills.
