On September 11 and 12, the “Heritage Nights” initiative—through which Spain’s World Heritage cities transform their historic centers into authentic living stages—will once again fill Alcalá de Henares with free activities.
During these two days, museums, theaters, and cultural institutions—from the Cervantes Birthplace Museum to Complutum—as well as the very streets of Alcalá de Henares will participate in the event with a program that promotes a connection to and respect for cultural heritage through activities accessible to everyone and designed for all ages.
This translates into special evening openings that allow visitors to explore museums or archaeological sites at night, guided city tours, dance performances, theatrical productions, parades, and workshops for the whole family.
