For three days only, Madrid will host a market where original shopping is just a small part of everything you can enjoy: exhibitions, cooking and DJ workshops, and even sushi and other gourmet product tastings. The event is called ART LAB and will be held on March 5, 6, and 7 at Espacio Perón. Tickets are already on sale.
This is not your typical weekend market
The ART LAB market (now in its eighth year and once again sponsored by Alhambra) will bring together artists and artisans offering their original products, whether you’re looking to treat yourself or buy unique gifts. There will also be gourmet food tasting stands, including one featuring sushi.
The event will feature the classic activities of this type of market, such as live music (with bands and DJs) and workshops, including one on ceviche, salads, dressings, and seasonings led by Nacho Morell. The festival will also feature several exhibitions to discover local art and, wait for it, even a dance floor!
On the three days of the festival, there will be a closing party hosted by various electronic music groups. It will be impossible to resist dancing.
Opening hours and practical information
These are the opening hours for the eighth edition of ART LAB:
- Thursday, March 5, from 3:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Friday, March 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Saturday, March 7, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
If you enter the venue before 7:00 p.m., the ticket price is €7, while after that time it will cost €15. The ticket includes a free Alhambra product or a glass of wine.
