Madrid is one of the capitals of theater: walking from Gran Vía, the small Spanish Broadway, to the alternative theaters of Lavapiés, we see advertisements of very diverse plays. One of the best places to enjoy a good staging is the Corral Cervantes, a meeting point with the theatrical tradition of the Golden Age.
This space, inspired by the corrales de comedias that became fashionable in the Baroque era, has a new venue in the Nave de Terneras ( formerly belonging to the Matadero de Madrid, hence its curious name … but now serves to host all kinds of cultural plans). Here you can enjoy the program prepared by the Siglo de Oro Foundation for this season. In it is present, more than any other author, the great Lope de Vega.
