Magic has that point between play and deception that never fails to engage. Here we have names like David Copperfield and Pop the Magician. Or movies like The Illusionist or The Final Trick, that make you look twice at even the simplest scene. Because yes, adults are curious and that’s why we look for the trick and try to understand it. But not children. They simply believe. And that’s where “El Portal Mágico” Madrid comes in, a magic show designed to be enjoyed as a family, with humor, surprises and a neon portal that will take you on a journey to the impossible.
What is “El Portal Mágico”?
It is an interactive magic experience for children, which lasts 60 minutes. Its proposal is simple: classic tricks adapted to a children’s audience that challenge logic and feed creativity, with cards, predictions and even mental games. The event is for children from four years old and ticket prices start at 14 euros.
In the center of the stage there is a neon portal that accompanies every moment of the show. The magician is in charge of opening it, guiding the little ones through a magical universe made to surprise them and awaken their imagination. They will participate, help him and, who knows, maybe even do magic too.
“El Portal Mágico” Madrid takes place at the Institut Français de Madrid, with performances at 11:00 and 13:00. The experience is designed for the little ones, but there is something about enjoying it as an adult that also catches. Because magic is about tricks… but, above all, about how those who see them react. Gestures of amazement, spontaneous laughter and those “I can’t believe it” faces. And sharing that is perhaps the most beautiful part of the show.
