El Rastro is a fundamental event to know the capital (and every Sunday you have an opportunity to go), but there are many other temporary flea markets in Madrid that deserve a place in the monthly agenda. There are themed (almost every month there is a medieval one in the Community), specialized in local products, more focused on fashion and design or vintage decoration. That is, you can buy almost everything in street stalls if you know how and when the markets are held in Madrid.
