August in Madrid is a delight when temperatures allow it, with the city half empty, and verbenas filling the streets, the capital is friendlier.
In the coming days the banderillas will adorn the downtown neighborhoods to start with the most traditional celebrations of the year (after San Isidro): the festivities of San Cayetano, San Lorenzo and the Virgen de la Paloma. Music will take over the streets, squares and emblematic corners to flood Madrid’s summer with free concerts and DJ sessions for all audiences. Among vermouth, shawls and traditional atmosphere, the musical program of this 2025 brings together big names and emerging proposals, merging the traditional spirit with the best current music.
