The city of Madrid is hosting the Mutua Madrid Open 2026 tennis tournament at the Caja Mágica (Camino de Perales, 23) through Sunday, May 3: a competition that brings together the top male and female players of the moment on the court and an audience estimated at around 16,400 spectators per day in the stands. To get there, the Madrid City Council recommends using public transportation, and there are plenty of options available.
You can reach the Caja Mágica by metro, Cercanías-Renfe, city buses operated by the Municipal Transport Company (EMT), intercity buses, and BiciMad. Below, we break down each of these options, along with their distance from the venue.
Metro
The metro station closest to Madrid Caja Mágica is San Fermín-Orcasur (Line 3), located about 750–800 meters from the venue’s entrance.
Cercanías-Renfe
The nearest stations are Orcasitas or Doce de Octubre (Line C-5). From there, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the Caja Mágica.
City buses operated by the Municipal Transport Company (EMT)

In conjunction with this event, Line 180—which normally connects Legazpi and El Pozo— will operate between Legazpi and Caja Mágica on non-school days. You can reach Legazpi in the following ways:
- Metro Lines 3 and 6.
- EMT city bus lines 6, 8, 18, 19, 22, 45, 47, 59, 62, 76, 78, 79, 85, 86, 123, 148, 156, 247, and T32 (this line will not operate on April 26 and May 1, 2, and 3, 2026).

In addition, lines N13, N14, and N15 stop on Avenida de Andalucía.

Pedestrian entrances: which one is most convenient depending on your mode of transportation

For those arriving by Metro (San Fermín-Orcasur), EMT bus lines (23, 78, and 123), or Cercanías (Orcasitas or Doce de Octubre), access is via Camino de Perales.
For those arriving on city bus lines 180 and T32, the entrance is on Embajadores Street. Both entrances, by the way, are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
