Madrid Río will be transformed this weekend into a small amusement park to celebrate the International Day of Families. This green space of the capital will host a day full of free activities for all audiences, with special attention to the little ones, who can enjoy giant inflatables, games, workshops and outdoor shows in a safe and festive environment.
This Saturday, the esplanade of Madrid Río, next to the King’s Bridge, will be the epicenter of the celebration and will open its doors from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Throughout the day, families will find a wide variety of recreational and educational proposals: from bouncy castles and adventure circuits to creative craft workshops, storytelling, face painting, balloon twisting and traditional games.
One of the great attractions of the day will be the inflatable area, with structures of different sizes and themes for all ages, which will turn Madrid Río into the ideal place to jump, run and enjoy in groups. There will also be magic shows, children’s theater, live music and itinerant entertainment, guaranteeing a party on a small scale.
An event for all families in Madrid Río

The event is organized by the Madrid City Council and access to all activities is completely free, it is not necessary to register in advance, just approach the esplanade and join the fun.
Madrid Río is very accessible by public transport: you can easily get there by metro (Príncipe Pío, Puerta del Ángel, Legazpi and Marqués de Vadillo), by Cercanías (Príncipe Pío and Pirámides) and by numerous bus lines. In addition, the environment has large pedestrian areas, bike lanes and picnic areas, making it perfect for spending the day with the family without the need to use the car.
