Officially, summer is still a month away, but temperatures are already exceeding 30°C on a daily basis and there’s no sign of them dropping, so the least we can do from the capital is plan how to beat the heat in the most enjoyable way possible—and inflatable water parks seem like a two-for-one solution.
A perfect choice: Aguapark Toledo, located in the province of Toledo, about a 60–70-minute drive from the capital, is considered one of the largest inflatable water parks in the country, with dozens of structures, pools, and rest areas spread across a large area. It reopens for a limited time each summer, transforming the grounds into a massive “water slide park” with a family-friendly atmosphere and plenty of thrills.
This year’s schedule brings back Aguapark Toledo on June 26, with the season running through the end of August and daily openings during the peak summer months. Regular hours are from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy both the peak sun hours and the cooler afternoon hours.
Giant slides, obstacle courses, and areas for all ages

At the heart of Aguapark Toledo are its giant inflatable slides, some several meters high with drops that end in pools or shallow water areas. Added to this are inflatable castles, obstacle courses over the water, specific areas for young children, and family pools, so there are distinct zones tailored to different ages and levels of activity. The park also features entertainment areas with organized activities, music, and games.
General admission is €18.90 on weekdays and €21.90 on weekends.
