The city of goats and flowers

One of the main symbols of the metropolis are goats, which represent prosperity and are very present, as can be seen reflected in the iconic Five Goats Statue in Yuexiu Park. Guangzhou’ s other nickname is “the city of flowers,” as its warm, subtropical climate allows vegetation to flourish year-round.
Among its tourist attractions are the Canton Tower, with 600 meters high and a futuristic architecture, the Shengxin Cathedral that stands out for its colorful and brightness or the Buddhist temple of the Six Bainians, among many others.
Finally, Guangzhou is the birthplace of Cantonese cuisine, creator of the famous spring roll, one of the most widespread dishes globally. Its dim sum (small steamed morsels), grilled meats and wonton noodle soups stand out .
