Kylian Mbappé once again fell short of winning the Ballon d’Or at yesterday’s ceremony, but he has had more success in the real estate market. In 2024, when he moved from Paris to Madrid, he chose a home with a Real Madrid connection: Gareth Bale’s former house in La Finca, in Pozuelo de Alarcón. According to ¡Hola!, the French forward purchased the property for about 11 million euros. The mansion features swimming pools, a gym, a private movie theater, and a golf practice area left behind by its previous owner. The transaction thus passed the keys from one Real Madrid star to another, in a gated community known for the privacy it offers its residents.
The size helps explain the price: the built area is around 1,200 square meters, on a lot of approximately 3,000 square meters. Inside, there are spacious living rooms, several bedrooms, and eleven bathrooms, as well as terraces and spaces dedicated to leisure. Its architecture follows a very contemporary style, featuring straight lines, large windows, and an open connection to the garden, while the decor features neutral tones and materials such as wood and stone.

The sports facilities are one of the home’s most unique features. In addition to the outdoor pool, there is an indoor pool, as well as a gym and a spa area with a sauna and jacuzzi. The garden also features a basketball court and a small golf green, likely a nod to the previous owner, Bale’s, passion for the sport.
The house rounds out its amenities with a movie theater and a garage for several vehicles, but its appeal isn’t limited to its interior comforts. La Finca offers controlled access and security measures that help preserve the privacy of its residents—a key factor for a soccer player with Mbappé’s level of public exposure.
