Christmas in Madrid is warming up and it is already counting by days -specifically 10- the time left for the Christmas lighting to illuminate the capital again: a lighting that this year moves to the Puerta del Sol and will take place at 19h on Thursday, November 23. And associated with this event, as every year, Naviluz, the bus that makes a tour of the Christmas lights on wheels, will run again.
The dates on which Naviluz will provide service during the 2023/2024 edition, according to ABC, will be from November 24 to January 7, and the official website has already announced the date on which tickets will go on sale.
It will be this Thursday, December 16 at 9 am and the event’s website reminds us that the only way to sell tickets is online, through the website Naviluz.es.
Route and prices of Naviluz

The route lasts approximately 50 minutes (depending on traffic conditions) and buses depart between 18h and 22:50h, every 5 or 10 minutes. The only days it is not operational are December 24 and 31 and January 5.
Except for special circumstances -in which case an alternative itinerary is established-, the route of Naviluz is always the same and goes through some of the most emblematic points of the capital, such as Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Cibeles, Gran Vía, Plaza de España or Plaza de Colón.
As for ticket prices, last year they were as follows:
- General admission: 7€.
- Children up to seven years old: free (maximum three free tickets per adult).
- Seniors over 65 years old, children between 7 and 11 years old, people who due to reduced mobility cannot access the upper floor and people with disabilities over 33%: 3€.
On the other hand, from the organization, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before the bus departs, in order to avoid crowds and queues.
