To show that music is not only listened to. That is the vocation with which the new music bookstore Perros de lluvia (Calle Sombrerería 1, local 2), located in Madrid’s Lavapiés neighborhood, was born.
In this space -which has borrowed its name from the title of the album Rain Dogs by Tom Waits- you can find music books in all forms and genres imaginable -biographies, journalistic essays, magazines, fanzines, graphic novels or music books for children- and various items, such as T-shirts and personalized bags.
From Aretha Franklin to C. Tangana, passing through Rosalía or Taylor Swift, all artists and styles have a place in this bookstore headed by Álex Fraile, who after a life dedicated to humanitarian organizations has decided to focus on his passion for music.
Activities for music lovers in Perros de lluvia
The bookstore is born not only as a point of sale of books, but has the vocation to become a meeting and exchange place for all those people who enjoy music.
To this end, it will host various activities such as small concerts, book and record signings, reading workshops and even sheet music.
