Baqueira Beret is the natural setting for the Polar Sound Occident festival, which will be the scene of plenty of music and great times on March 12 and 13, 2027. What makes Polar Sound Occident so special? Obviously, its location: it’s the only music festival held at an altitude of over 1,500 meters (specifically, in Baqueira Beret, a getaway beloved by many Madrid residents) and right in the middle of ski season. That makes it the perfect plan for music lovers who also love skiing, snowboarding, and nature tourism: during the day, you can hit the slopes; in the afternoon and at night, you can enjoy the show on stage.

Polar Sound Occident 2027: Everything We Know So Far
We already know where we’ll be skiing and where we’ll wrap up the 2026 snow season: on the slopes of Baqueira Beret. It will take place on Friday, March 12, and Saturday, March 13, 2027, on the esplanade of the resort’s parking lot. We also know that in this space—down jackets at the ready—food trucks will liven up the atmosphere, beer will flow freely, and music will play for two days.
The lineup for Polar Sound Occident 2027 will be announced soon, and judging by some of the artists from last year’s lineup (which sold out), we’re in for some unforgettable concerts. There’s sure to be no shortage of high-energy live performances, just like the headliners from previous editions of the festival: from Viva Suecia to Ana Mena, from Vetusta Morla to Siloé, from Leire Martínez to Beret… What a star-studded lineup!
And between concerts—and after they wrap up—there’ll be no shortage of performances by various DJs who’ll keep the crowd energized by spinning hit after hit until dawn.
As for the rest of the plans for those days, we know that we’ll be able to complement the festival pass with ski passes offering unlimited skiing during the event. These add-ons, as well as others (such as recommended accommodations or transportation so you don’t have to drive), will also go on sale soon.
