Once again this year the Feast of the Transhumance will leave this 2025 an unusual picture in the streets of downtown Madrid: a large flock of sheep walking through the streets under the watchful eye of passersby.
After last year’s event had to be suspended due to the registration of blue tongue among the flock -a viral disease-, this time the event will be resumed with even more enthusiasm after this temporary hiatus.
On this occasion, the main event of the XXXII Feast of the Transhumance, this iconic walk along the main roads of the city, will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 10:30 am to 2 pm.
