Low-cost shopping options are always very attractive, and in this case, it is not a temporary market, but a European store full of discounts. We are talking about Action, a non-food product chain that has opened a new store in Madrid.
It was already present in other cities in the Madrid area, such as Torrejón de Ardoz, Alcalá de Henares, and Fuenlabrada, and in November 2025, it announced its arrival in the capital. Its new store is located atnumber 8 Avenida Mayorazgo, in the Villa de Vallecas district. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and has a total of 927 square meters of floor space.
150 new items every week

Action has 6,000 different products divided into 14 categories, ranging from toys and homewares to DIY and electronics. They all have the same goal: to offer very low prices and ensure high quality.
Two-thirds of the items cost less than €2, and every week they introduce 150 new products to the stores, so every purchase is a different experience.
Their catalog includes both well-known brands and private labels. In addition, their website reveals the reason why they are so cheap: “Webuy a lot at once, which means we pay less. We are efficient in how we buy, transport, store, and sell our range.”
An expanding chain

With this new store in Villa de Vallecas, Action now has 12 stores in the Community of Madrid and a total of 93 nationwide. The project began in 1993 in the Netherlands, with the same idea of offering low-cost items, and has expanded throughout Europe.
Action currently operates more than 3,000 stores in 13 countries and, according to its own data, serves more than 20 million customers every week.
To increase buyer confidence, they have quality, safety, and sustainability standards inplace. They demonstrate theircommitment to production and supply through various labels.
Notable examples include FSC® and PEFC for wood and paper, Fairtrade for chocolate, Rainforest Alliance for coffee, and Better Cotton for cotton.
