Many of the buildings included in Open House Madrid are closed to the public during the rest of the year, so there is usually a high demand to visit them. Access is free, but a €3 handling fee applies at the time of booking, which is disclosed during the process.
All tours are guided by experts and volunteers. In the case of the buildings and studios the duration is 30 to 45 minutes, while the tours last from 1.5 to 2 hours.
La Casa Palazuelo, the skylight Madrid and much more

The spirit of the festival is to open the doors of the city and show architecture as an element that transforms urban life. This year’s slogan is “Madrid se sale,” highlighting the city’s artistic effervescence and potential.
It includes more than 30 visits to architectural studios, which allow visitors to delve into the creative process of architects. In addition, there are 9 itineraries to tour the city under the gaze of sustainability, industrial architecture, skyscrapers or film and series sets, among others. A highlight is the route in collaboration with Cruza Carabanchel, which runs through this neighborhood and shows the union between creativity and community life.
The Royal Collections Gallery, Casa Palazuelo, the Italian Embassy, the Royal Tapestry Factory, the National Library and the innovative Skylight Madrid are just some of the buildings that can be visited by those participating in this edition of Open House Madrid.
